EXPLORE WOODSTOCK VILLAGE

Spend a few hours wandering Tinker Street, the heart of Woodstock. It's filled with locally owned boutiques, art galleries, cafés, and restaurants, making it the perfect place to shop, grab a bite, and soak in the town's creative spirit.

HIKE OVERLOOK MOUNTAIN

One of the area's most iconic hikes, Overlook Mountain is well worth the climb. The trail follows an old carriage road to the fascinating ruins of the historic Overlook Mountain House before continuing to a fire tower with sweeping views of the Catskills and Hudson Valley. Plan for about 2–3 hours round trip.

VISIT OPUS 40

Part sculpture park, part museum, and completely one-of-a-kind, Opus 40 is a 6.5-acre environmental sculpture created by artist Harvey Fite. It's an easy and memorable stop just a short drive from Woodstock and one of our favorite places to bring visitors.

A Catskills institution for good reason. Whether you're fueling up before a hike or recovering afterward, Phoenicia Diner serves elevated diner favorites using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. It can get busy, but it's worth the wait!

WALK OR BIKE THE ASHOKAN RAIL TRAIL

The Ashokan Rail Trail is one of the most beautiful and accessible ways to experience the Catskills. This flat, crushed-stone trail follows the edge of the Ashokan Reservoir and offers stunning mountain and water views the entire way.

GRAB A BEER AT WOODSTOCK BREWING

After a day of hiking or exploring, we love ending the day at Woodstock Brewing in nearby Phoenicia. They brew a rotating selection of craft beers, have a great food menu, and it's one of our favorite spots to relax with friends and family.

SPEND AN AFTERNOON IN KINGSTON

Only about 20 minutes away, Kingston is full of great restaurants, boutiques, antique stores, and waterfront views. Wander through the historic Stockade District, browse the shops, or enjoy a drink along the Rondout waterfront before heading back to Woodstock.
